Yeah - decent premise, but yeah, I think the ending could have been far better than Depp passing away in the Coke House......
go read the from hell book. it's 100000 pages of comic book.

Other than the leg, I think it's the perfect look for Jack. Think about it. One theory is that he was a butcher. What part of that guy doesn't scream, "I cut open pigs for a living?!?!"
That leg sucks ass, and I don't like his apron either.
